OptiTalent ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our platform at optitalent.cc and app.optitalent.cc.

Information We Collect

Account information: Name, email address, company name, and role when you register or request a demo.

Candidate data: Resumes, CVs, and related documents uploaded by you for parsing and matching. This data is processed on your behalf and belongs to you.

Usage data: How you interact with the platform, including pages viewed, features used, and session duration. Collected via privacy-respecting analytics.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve our AI matching, parsing, and tracking services
• To communicate with you about your account, updates, and support
• To ensure platform security and prevent abuse
• To comply with legal obligations (e.g., Australian Privacy Act 1988)

Data Security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Our infrastructure is hosted in Australia with Cloudflare edge security. We implement role-based access controls and regular security audits.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. Your candidate data is never shared with other agencies or users. We may share data with:

• Infrastructure providers (hosting, database) under strict data processing agreements
• Law enforcement when required by Australian law

Your Rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act and GDPR (where applicable), you have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent for data processing

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, all data is permanently removed within 90 days. You can export your data at any time.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. No third-party advertising cookies are used. Analytics cookies are privacy-respecting and do not track individuals across sites.
